While the Mediterranean has been hit with a sizzling heat wave, here in Britain we have to content ourselves with autumn like rain and wind.
None the less London has been buzzing with activity with a mock grand prix set up in oxford street to promote a future Monaco style grandprix to replace the ageing Silverstone. Because lets face it, London needs more tourists …right?
Well which-ever your views, we’ll all agree on the fact that it might make F1 motor racing that little bit more interesting, although I wonder what course they’ll eventually come up with…mmm
Start from Piccadilly, go to Regent Street, cut through Carnaby street, lead on to Soho, then through Tottenham Court road to finish though Oxford street lol…
It was an interesting week for the alternative art movement with a week of public exhibitions on Trafalgar square featuring modern dancing, weird opera style ladies stumbling down the stairs in synch and an army of ghetto blaster musicians forming a modern concerto with conductor! Impressive stuff for the non initiated.
Quite a contrast to a concert I saw a few days back…KMFDM.A sort of Metal electro 80’s style anarchic melee of mercenary looking individuals shouting their lungs out. Quite fun actually, especially in the “mosh pit” :)
Still its nice to sometimes check out what others are into, and its only by experience that you really grow and stay young if you’ll excuse the contradictory image.
