Welcome to the start of summer editorial.

It’s been a couple of months since the last editorial; the editorials took an early holiday somewhat…

At the moment I’m in the United States, currently exploring the West coast and biting into that American pie so to speak. So expect photo updates soon in the photo gallery from my trip.

It’s interesting to be in a country which although in our minds is the closest of our English cousins, is in reality more complex to understand. Although we share the same language, that’s were the similarities end. From the different accents and expressions you encounter from state to state, to the cultural and traditional habits we’re really talking about chalk and cheese. In a place where everything is ‘super sized’, our European motto of small is beautiful seems miles away. Grocery stores take the form of giant sized warehouses, shopping centres are 7 storey malls, cars transform into SUV tanks, and where space is not really an issue.

Anyways, I look forward to digging deeper into American culture soon, on our road trip down to California.

Until then, have a good summer break and enjoy life to its fullest.
