As if by magic the clouds scatter, and from the depths of Hades the sun makes a surprise appearance. Could this well be the end of winter time already?
Well we can hope can’t we?
Wishful thinking aside, welcome to the mid march editorial.
This month I’ve been mostly working on various essays blissfully unaware of the world spinning around me.
I must say that there’s something I really couldn’t quite figure out in the past; every time I went to Nero or Coffee republic or Starbucks I kept seeing people with their laptops out working away.
Don’t these people have lunch breaks I thought? Why weren’t people doing the same thing in local traditional coffee shops around town?
And then this week it struck me…Basically to cut a short story even shorter, I had to escape the noise at home and find a quiet place to work. My first point of call was the park, but that was soon interrupted by v cold weather…Then I went for shelter in my local Nero; jazz music playing in the background actually made the outside world somewhat disappear…
I got my laptop out, and actually began to work! No distractions (well nearly hehe) , comfortable settee, good coffee, what more could you ask for…?Well free internet would be nice, but then people would just spend their entire days there :)
This month was quite action packed news wise, so I though I’d make a photo wall this time instead of the usual news round up. Enjoy!
