Is there not a better day to greet you back to Digitalpulp ,than late at night on the 1^st of May. Symbolic holiday in many countries celebrating “work day”, but in England better known for riot day :> Yes its that time of year, when young people from public schools and exclusive backgrounds come out to cry out their protests by throwing the occasional chair into a MacDonald’s window…
Ok ..That’s me picking on the tormented upper class youth trying to escape the generations of capitalists in them, but they do have a way of making the news on the occasion.

But its also a day for protest marches and a time where people can protest and moan about their angst’s and get seen on television for making a scene. That said I’m all for freedom of speech, and mass protest. Its just that these days ,shouldn’t we be able to show our democratic rights in other means then those that would shame early Romans?

Why can’t our governments listen to our anxieties?

And to go back to the main point. Why do people protest against capitalism?

Haven’t we fought many wars to protect our ‘fair’ capitalism? The much sought after American dream of richness through individual progress? Communism, we are told is the satanic but tempting alternative , and we are trying to combine a bit of both to remedy our loses…But what happened to the roots of capitalism which we tried to uphold for decades? We seem to have forgotten that as every game , there are rules. And that once accepted, there should be no turning back.

Now trying to limit the big winners of the game would just reduce us to sore losers;

Instead we should have a Darwinian approach to this situation, and see the solution in more savage competition , instead of admitting defeat.

And as it was quickly started, there are no doubts that tomorrow these events will be last years news, and a bit of broken glass will be all that remain …
