Mid December editorial!

Welcome to this rather late mid December editorial!

In true festive tradition it’s been a rather lazy couple of days in the Digitalpulp offices. Well in the Digitalpulp office to be more exact :)
But just in time for Christmas, this editorial is full of goodies and stuff to occupy you during your breaks in between turkey and mince pie scoffings…

First we’ll start with a bit of bad news (for dramatic effect); as you might have noticed it’s been a pretty bleak week for the P2P community worldwide, as Edonkey and Bit torrent websites have recently been bombarded by the RIAA.
It seems that suing individuals wasn’t enough of a threat, so they have turned their attention to the source (so to speak) of the problem. By creating an atmosphere of fear and retribution they have managed to either force down or intimidate the large Bit torrent portals into submission.
But on a positive note, it should get all those techies out there to think of a new and better system. Evolution and creativity are processes associated with need, and without such a catalyst we are bound to stagnate.

On an even more positive note it’s nearly Christmas, and the carols are singing, the Trafalgar square Christmas tree is all lit up, and most of the streets should now be gleaming with decorations. Time to stop and reflect of on an excellent year, and take a big breath before plunging into 2005! Until then, let us wish you a very Merry Christmas, with lots of food, drink and good company!

Failing that, the really nice guys at Rockstar have recently made some of their old classic games downloadable from their website! You can relive those great moments of running down a line of monks with you Countach in GTA, and become a future Yakuza gang leader in GTA 2. It’s a pity they haven’t included GTA London as that was a ball. You can catch those classic games and more for free at Rockstar games .

Until the next time,
