Saturday 10th of July 2004 Time to escape the city I think, and head for sunnier shores sharpish.
While the Mediterranean has been hit with a sizzling heat wave, here in Britain we have to content ourselves with autumn like rain and wind.
None the less London has been buzzing with activity with a mock grand prix set up in oxford street to promote a future Monaco style grandprix to replace the ageing Silverstone. Because lets face it, London needs more tourists …right?
Well which-ever your views, we’ll all agree on the fact that it might make F1 motor racing that little bit more interesting, although I wonder what course they’ll eventually come up with…mmm
